Ma & Pa Visit Part III
After lunch we spent the afternoon enjoying a stroll down Orchard Road... one of the world's premier homages to capatalism.
Bella smiles at the epicenter of shopping in the Eastern Hemisphere.
Jake shows his approval for clean air, open sidewalks and lots of good toys on sale!
In the evening we went to the National Biotanical Gardens. Bella was excited to see this small piece of 'desert.'

Ma & Pa Visit part II
After a couple of days of toiling around Jakarta we all packed our bags and flew to Singapore for a few days! Only a 90 minute flight away... Singapore is a completely different world than Jakarta.

Fall Break
At long last! We have found some time to update our blog....
Last week Ma & Pa came across the pond to visit us -- needless to say Bella was VERY excited!

New York City Part II
On our second day in the Big City we headed back to Manhattan for more fun, lots of walking and fortunately the sun was shining and the weather very nice.

After lunch we went to the top of the Rockefeller building.
Our trip was all too short... on our last morning Bella and Mark took a photo in front of the Statue of Liberty.

The Big Apple part I
A week or so before we went back to Jakarta... Bella and Mark took a trip out to New York City to visit "Auntie Ria." This was the longest time Bella had ever been away from her mom... but she was super excited to go to New York and did a fantastic job the whole trip.
Bella smiles as she settles in for the cross country flight... nothing compared to flying back home!

We finished off a sensational first day with a huge find: a Dora ice cream bar!

Camping Out
A few days after we got back from the beach house we headed over to Memorial Park in La Honda for a couple of nights of camping with Monica, Luke, Brooke, Ryan, Ma & Pa. It was Jake's first time in a tent!
Bella and Icha set up our tent while Jake enjoys hanging out in a huge tupperware box.
