Brother and Sister

Our summer of 2011 provided us with a few super cute moments between Bella and Jacob. Below is a sample:

Summer Golf

As we continue a look back on our summer holiday in the USA.... below are a few photos from some of our trips out to the local golf course. Jake's second favorite sport at the moment is golf (bowling being #1) --- and he spent many an hour this past summer honing his putting skills.

Icha and Bella enjoy a sunny morning out on the links.

Fun World!

Last Friday after school we all went to "Fun World" in the local mall. "Fun World" is chock full of games of skill, chance, adventure... and of course fun! We capped off our trip with a visit the book store... where Bella and Jake each we able to choose a literary masterpiece.

Bella LOVED playing this little game in which you match up various fashion items to produce the most 'fashionable' outfit.

A Happy 4th

A few days after we got back from New York --- we celebrated two birthdays: America's and 'Bella's USA Brithday.'

As Bella has been in Indonesia for everyone one of her 'real' brithdays (aside from her 3rd) each summer we celebrate her 'American Birthday' --- complete with cake, ice cream and the ever important presents!

Bella blows out her candles as Jordan looks on.

Time to lick the frosting off the candles!

After cake it was time to open a few presents.

Bella checks out a super cool gift from Brooke & Ryan.

Bella shows off her new 'Ariel' dress --- a great gift from Ma!

As dusk drew near... it was time to head out for a few fireworks.

Michele lights something special as Ryan, Brooke and Jordan look on with great anticipation.

Here we go!

High excitement all the way around... check out Jordan's feet!

No finer way to spend sunset on the 4th of July.

All the Murnane grandkids (save from Jacob who watched the fun from the safety of the upstairs bedroom) smile.

New York!

Towards the end of June Mark had a conference to attend at Columbia in New York. Icha came along, Michele popped in for a few days... and we had a great time visiting Maria!

On Icha's first night we took a walk down on the Brooklyn Heights Promenade... only minutes from Maria's apartment!

What a cute couple.

No trip to New York is complete without a visit to Katz! World's greatest sandwich...? It could be... and at $17 it's one of the most expensive!

We managed to fit in some shopping time down in Soho.

A beautiful New York summer day... perfect weather for a boat tour around Manhattan.

Maria smiles in front of the Statue of Liberty

Mark and Icha smile only a few hundred yards from where at one time one in four Americans entered the country.

Grand Central Station!

On our last day Icha had lunch with an old friend from college while Mark & Maria went for a nice bike ride through Central Park.

First few weeks

During the first few weeks after we arrived in the USA we kept ourselves busy getting over our jet lag.

8 years of marital bliss.... celebrated with a fine meal, an IPad and some awesome flip flops!

Dad and Mark went to a great day game at AT&T Park.

Sunny skies and a Giants win!

Of course each morning we started of the day right.

The breakfast of champions.
