The rumors are true!

Yes... it is true: Icha is with child. Little Murnane #2 is due at the end of September. Needless to say, we are very excited!

Little Murnane #2 at about 6 centimeters.

So far a few of the names Bella has suggested for her little sibling: Chuck E. Cheese, Minnie, Mickey, Dora, Diego.... we're still thinking :-)

Finding Eggs!

After Bella colored her eggs she left them out on the kitchen table that evening for the Easter Bunny. In the morning all the eggs were hidden in the living room! Bella had a great time finding her little gems.

Bella returns her first found egg to the table.

An egg under the pillow on the couch! It's a good thing nobody sat down on it.

Bella points to an egg she spotted in a basket on the bottom shelf.

One egg to go.... where could it be?

Coloring Eggs!

Last Saturday Bella dyed Easter eggs for the very first time in her young life. Coloring eggs is much easier than it used to be as now you only have to put an egg in a plastic bag, drop in a few drops of dye, roll the egg in the bag... and viola! A beautiful Easter egg is created.

Bella rolls her first egg in Pink dye.

1 down... 11 to go!

Bella's New Hobby

Lately Bella has shown a great deal of interest in cooking! She loves helping Icha cook dinner and last Saturday was very excited to help her grandma ('Ma') make a batch of yummy brownies.

Like Mother Like Daughter....

As Bella grows up... she is becoming more and more like her wonderful mommy! It's amazing how Bella and Icha are alike in so many ways.

Bella helps Icha prepare food for dinner.

The little Bellsters and Icha smile in the kitchen.

Bella is even starting to cut up vegetables!

After Dinner Icha is off to check her email.

And... like mommy, like daughter....

Daylight Savings Time Begins

Yesterday in America we all 'Sprang Forward' as daylight savings time began. This means it now gets dark around 7:45pm here in Palo Alto. To celebrate we went out for some ice cream after dinner.

Before we could leave Bella insisted that she find a 'flower for my mommy.' Here she picks a nice white flower from our house.

Icha and Bella smile in front of the ice cream store.

Baskin and Robbins! Just like back at Citos or in the basement of Sogo.

Bella needs no help getting into the ice cream store!

Bella checks out all the toppings... she chose the 'chocolate sprinkles' for her cone.

Ice cream in hand, Bella is ready to go.

Bella demonstrates the perfect "no spoon" eating technique she showed off at Ma's birthday party.

Hawaii - day 6

Last Friday was sadly our last day in Hawaii. Our flight was at 3pm so we had time to sleep in, take our time packing, pick up some donuts and make our way to the airport. We did stop at the dollar store on the way there to grab a few souvenirs .

Bella enjoys the ride on the shuttle bus to the airport after we dropped off our rental car.

While we checked in we took the opportunity to weigh the little Bellster.

31.5 pounds. 31 pounds of kid... half a pound of donuts in the tummy!

While we were waiting for our luggage Bella wiled away the time by chatting with her friends on the phone.

A happy grandma and grandpa picked us up from the airport!

As soon as we got home, Bella had to check her email!
